Jordan Cargill provided a well-organized and safe two-day ski-mountaineering and ice climbing experience in the White Mountains. On the first day, we climbed Pinnacle Gully, where Jordan’s route planning and technical guidance ensured an efficient and controlled ascent. The ski descent down The Lip of Tuckerman Ravine was well-managed, with a strong emphasis on terrain assessment and risk management. The second day at Frankenstein Cliffs focused on ice climbing, where Jordan provided practical instruction to improve technique and efficiency. His ability to break down skills in a clear and approachable way made the experience both productive and enjoyable. Jordan’s familiarity with the region and understanding of conditions added value throughout the trip. His professional and safety-first approach made for a great experience, and I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to build skills in ski-mountaineering or ice climbing.
